Bottom Line: This company has the highest level of integrity and cares more about making sure customers are properly taken care of, than they do about making a dollar!

I originally spoke to the Ed, the owner of Brown's Heating & Cooling, requesting an estimate for the purchase and install of a ductless HVAC system. Ed informed me these systems are very expensive and suggested I research other solutions, to resolve the issue with uneven temperatures throughout my house. Ed researched my condenser and furnace to ensure they were sufficient for the square footage of my house. After confirming they were sufficient for my house, he then recommended I consider running my fan 24/7. Ed provided me with a detailed explanation/justification on the benefits of running the fan 24/7. Based on Ed's explanation, I decided to try out his recommendation. However, due to wiring limitations, I wasn't able to run the fan by itself. At this point, I had a service technician from Brown's Heating & Cooling conduct a troubleshooting/diagnostic service call. The technician was very professional, very knowledgeable, and most of all outstanding integrity! He first tried to fish a new wire through the wall, but wasn't able to do the original wire had been stapled down and covered up by the drywall. He then suggested I consider a new thermostat with a Power Extender Kit (PEK). He explained to me how the PEK works and provided me with an estimate. Unfortunately, the cost and install were more than I was willing to pay. The technician then stated that since I was pretty proficient at working on my furnace, I should consider purchasing the equipment and doing the install myself. Based on his recommendation I purchased and installed the Ecobee 3 lite thermostat which comes with the PEK. It was incredibly simple to install and only cost me $162. I have now been running my fan 24/7 for the last two weeks, and now have even temperatures throughout my house. Because of Ed's integrity and the integrity of his service technician, I ended up only paying Ed's company $75 dollars for the service call, instead of anywhere from $500+ for the purchase/install of the Ecobee, all the way up to thousands of dollars if I would have just went with the ductless HVAC system. It's worth re-stating, the reason I didn't have to go with the ductless HVAC system is all because of Ed's integrity and willingness to educate me on other alternatives that were much cheaper. In closing, I hope I don't have any future HVAC issues, but if I do, I will definitely give my business to Ed and his company, Brown's Heating & Cooling! Thanks again Ed, and please thank your service technician for me.

The men that installed the units were respectful of my property, my dogs and took the time to explain up keep and care.

It was a great experience working with Brown's to add central air conditioning to our home.
We started with the OEM of our existing heating system, where Brown's was most highly credentialed by the OEM and five star rated in reviews.
From there, working with Brown's was fantastic - GM Richard Fogal came out to meet with us, evaluate our heating system, discuss options,spec out the ideal AC system for our needs and talk through the process and timeline.
The install team (Hunter & Braden) did a great job. They worked diligently, communicated great, solved problems, were careful and kept the area clean. In a tight crawl space they really did a nice job of laying out the ductwork and unit placement. In addition to the central air, they installed a new thermostat (works great!) and replaced/rerouted a troublesome dryer vent. The forced system actually seems quieter than before - with good distribution throughout our home and no irksome noises from the vents. As soon as the cool weather passed, the technician John came out and calibrated the system, tuned up our furnace, and demonstrated the system.
All of this work was "on time, working great, and under budget". The city inspection was perfect. We couldn't be happier! Many thanks to everyone at Brown's Heating & Air.
PS - Brown's electrical subcontractor P & L Electric did great work as well. There a small issue with condenser placement relative to existing utilities and not only was the sub contractor helpful, but the owner came out right away and helped work out the best solution. That's great service.

Had these guys help me out when i messed up trying to install my smart thermostat myself on an older home. They came first thing in the morning and replaced the part I fried. They rewired my old and outdated wiring system to my thermostat and they hooked up the new smart thermostat for me and walked me through how to use it. Mike was my tech and he was super nice, friendly and knowledgeable. He did an excellent job and cleaned up the area after wards. This same company installed our A/C last year and they were excellent then too. Highly Recommend.
