My go to place for any of my heating/cooling needs.  Even when my new house was under warranty and I was getting the run around with the contractors and a faulty water heater, Bob sent his folks over and fixed the problem immediately.  I had them install a humidifier in my HVAC system and use them to do an annual service check as well.  Always highly competent and friendly employees.  There are a lot of choices out there, so letting people know about the great ones is important.  Brown's is one of the great ones!

We have used Brown's twice, once for heating, once for air conditioning. Their service is top notch. April provides excellent customer service. She helped us get "squeezed in" when the wait for AC service was more than a week. Within 24 hours, Clay had fixed our problem. The owner of the company was personally involved in the installation of our new heater last year, and at every level, from every employee, we have seen nothing but kindness, knowledge, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence. I moved into an existing house 2 years ago and just this past weekend our furnace would not stay lit, terrible timing as it was the middle of January and COLD out.  I went down to see if I could fix it and saw Brown's Heating sticker on the furnace.  I called, they answered and said their tech would call me soon with an approximate time he will show up.

What happened next is what really set them apart.  I explained what the problem was and the tech walked me through how to fix it over the phone (it was super easy) because  he didn't want me to pay the extra charges for a weekend appt.  UNREAL!

Well the furnace is still running fine, but I gotta tell you, I won't even think of calling anyone else if I need furnace services again.

These people are true class acts running an honest business!

I decided to clean my furnace the night before one of the first cold snaps of the fall. While cleaning it, I broke something (it worked before I cleaned it) and my furnace no longer worked. I called a neighbor, who is an electrician, for a HVAC recommendation and he suggested Brown's Heating & Cooling. I immediately called and left a message with their on-call service. Surprisingly, Bob called back within 20 minutes. I informed Bob what had happened and he asked us a few questions to try to determine the repair. We determined that I broke the original, old, and fragile ignitor. The next day (this wasn't an emergency), I purchased a replacement ignitor from Brown's shop and now the furnace works again.

Now, I have 20 years experience in the military in electrical and mechanical repair, but never HVAC certified (hence the broken ignitor). Even with my background though, most HVAC technicians would not have talked me through a repair without seeing the problem themselves, which is understandable. The HVAC business operates on charging for parts and skilled labor. Bob not only helped diagnose the problem, his shop also sold me the necessary part so I could correct my own mistake with a simple repair.

I am not suggesting that Brown’s Heating and Cooling technicians will help you fix your own furnace sight-unseen over the phone, but I can recommend their business due to their excellent customer service.
